Wedding Month: Day 17 Royal Wedding (#2)

In 1986 Prince Andrew married Sarah Ferguson (Fergie) and America's obsession with the British royals continued.  This is what I remember about this wedding.  It happened on the day I was having knee surgery.  I was wheeled into the operating room where the nurses had the wedding playing. I remember telling them that they needed to pay attention to the patient, not the TV.  But I had already had the shot of anesthesia, so I don't know if that memory is something I really said, or just what I said in my head.  Needless to say I remember NONE of the ceremony.  Here is a clip of part of it.

In 1981 the Wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Di began America's fascination with the British Royalty and their marriages.  I remember very little about this wedding, though I think I watched it.  This is just one section.

As Happy Days ended, Joanie married Chachi, and the ill fated spinoff Joanie Loves Chachi began,  This wedding scene was also featured in the first season of FRIENDS as Rachel watches in tears and says, "But Joanie loved Chachi, that's the difference"

As unlikely a couple as they may seem, Howard and Bernadette on Big Bang Theory pulled off one of the coolest weddings in recent TV history, right on the roof of a Pasadena apartment. Enjoy this clip:

Wedding Month: Day 5 the Bachelor

this isn't really a wedding scene, but a preview of a great movie centered around a wedding.  The Bachelor with Chris O'Donnell.  I was in Frisco on my honeymoon when they were filming the bride chase scene.  Very fun to watch them all run by.

Wedding Month: Day 3 Breaking Dawn

What look at weddings would be complete with out Bella and Edwards vows.  Okay, you either love or hate the twilight movies.  And the walk down the aisle takes forever, but the vow section is pretty cool, and I like the song during the vows.  My favorite thing about this is when they are kissing, and it pans to the seats, and they are empty, showing that to Bella and Edward at that moment, no one else was there.
