April Foolishness Dat 30: The Kiss

For the final day of April Foolishness I get a bit foolish myself. I am playing my favorite Doctor Who clip (again) because any excuse is good to see this scene.

April Foolishness Day 24: Steve Dahl

If you grew up in Chicago in the late 70's and early 80's you knew Steve Dahl.  His name was synonymous with bad taste, warped humor, and the end of Disco.  His warped humor, and bad taste can be heard in this parody song:

April Foolishness Day 20: Great Dictator

Today's foolishness, isn't really foolishness at all.  Today we look at a serious clip from one of the greatest comic minds.  For years Charlie Chaplin silently made us laugh.  In the Great Dictator (one of I believe two talkies Chaplin made) he gives this wonderful speech.  In light of the recent bombings in Boston, and on the Anniversary of Hitler's birth, April Foolishness takes a serious break.  Please feel free to comment.

April Foolishness Day 12: Iron Lady does Python

With the recent passing of Margaret Thatcher, my good friend Stacy posted this video on facebook, and I thought I'd share it.  Maybe not as much of a gut buster as some of this month's posts; and definitely nothing to rival John Cleese's original presentation, but still quite funny, and better than a lot of political mumbo jumbo.

April Foolishness Day 11: Oingo Boingo

Before Danny Elfman propelled Oingo Boingo to Cult music superstar status, they had humble beginnings on the Gong Show.  Thanks to my friend Glenn for sharing this with me.

April Foolishness Day 10: "Squirrel"

I believe it was my good friend from college, Dwight Reifsnyder that introduced me to Ray Stevens' classic song about a squirrel getting looser in a church service.  I'm sure it will leave you laughing.

April Foolishness Day 2: Dracula Song
